1. Dear John Travolta and Oliva Newton John – your video is oh-so-cheesy but strangely compelling. Yes, Sandy and Danny have reunited to produce perhaps the daggiest and oddly endearing Christmas song ever. Like, EVER. It’s (optimistically) called, ‘I Think You Might Like It’.
You have to watch. Right now. Because we think you might like it too.
The tune is disturbingly catchy… and the plot? Well, it’s a classic love story. Travolta flies his plane home for Christmas and parks it in the back yard, where he meets up with Newton-John in a stylised run-towards-each-other-arms-flung-wide-open-hug. Then they drive a convertible around for a while before doing some inexplicable boot-scooting with US army troops….
Incidentally, the video also features Kelly Preston (John Travolta’s wife), their 12-year-old daughter Ella Bleu and their 2-year-old son, Benjamin.
Move over Silent Night. We’ve got a new favourite carol.
3. Today’s Absolutely Ridiculous Photoshop fail comes to us from Dolce & Gabbana who removed Scarlett Johansson’s bosoms. Their latest perfume ad features the actress, who seems to be missing most of her chest. Take a look:

Well, that song is something alright. But you know what, I’ve heard bad Christmas songs all day as I walked around the shops and it’s no worse than the rest of them.

It is so cheesy & so fantastic – I DO like it! Maybe it’s because “Grease” was my fave movie as a kid and it hits the nostalgia button well and truly. Maybe it’s because I live 2,000km from all my family and am counting down the days until we can all hug & laugh & talk over each other. Maybe it’s because “it’s A Wonderful Life” is my all time favourite movie (yeah, I do actually own four copies) & it’s a tradition to watch it Christmas Eve, after Carols, while wrapping presents. I don’t know what it is, but I just love this song and video – so much cheesy, Christmas fun. Don’t be a Grinch – have some fun with it!! Merry Christmas everyone!
