1. Liz Hurley was caught on camera swearing at a Channel 10 reporter at Perth Airport yesterday.
Sports presenter Caty Price was attempting to interview Hurley’s fiancee, Shane Warne, following Wednesday’s Big Bash League match when it happened.
In an interview with 6PR radio, Price said Hurley walked into the back of her and told her it was “rude to stand in front of people.”
“I then asked her, ‘Liz what did you think of the game last night?’ and she spun around on her heels and said ‘I think you should…’ mouthed to me close up to my face ‘F off.’,” Price continued. Hurley then did “another spin and flick of the hair” before strutting off and smiling smugly at Shane.
And of course the incident was caught on camera. Take a look here:
What do you think – was Hurley completely out of line? Or should Price have backed off a little?
3. Beyonce tells GQ that “equality is a myth”, while dressed in very little on the magazine’s cover.
The 31-year-old singer, who the American men’s magazine crowned the ‘sexiest woman of the 21st century’, spoke about feminism and gender equality in the January edition.
“Equality is a myth, and for some reason everyone accepts that women don’t make as much money as men do,” she declared. “I truly believe that women should be financially independent from their men. And let’s face it, money gives men the power to run the show. It gives men the power to define value. They define what’s sexy. And men define what’s feminine. It’s ridiculous.”
Unfortunately the cover of the magazine seems to have missed the female empowerment memo. Evidently, the men at GQ define ‘sexy’ and ‘feminine’ as a pair of leopard print underwear, gold chains and a cutoff football jersey.
4. Kim Kardashian to David Letterman: “It’s time to stop mocking my marriage.” [click to read]
5. Presenting the key item missing from your summer wardrobe: the fashion merkin.
Cancel your Brazilian – the merkin is having its very own fashion moment. Or at least, the folk at VICE magazine seem to think so.
From rainbow brights to tuxedos, their high fashion merkin shoot demonstrates there’s a pubic hairpiece for every occasion – who knew? And here we were thinking it was what we put on over our underwear that counts. How daft of us.
And it probably goes without saying that this gallery is NSFW.
Take a deep breath. It's time to click through and discover the world of haute couture pubic hairpieces.

they weren’t interested in Ms. Hurley and she clearly didn’t like it. Her “look at me tactics” worked, she got what she wanted, her frustrations at being ignored are obvious imho

Ugh. Totally classless. And then she turned around, smiled towards the cameras and SW with such a fake smile on her face. Ugh. Again.

Hurley’s behaviour was disgraceful. If she had any manners she’d apologise. Warne looked less than impressed with her. I hope he gave her a piece of his mind when they were in private.

Liz was totally classless (and maybe a little jealous that she was prettier and younger than she is? just sayin). And what about Warnie. He needs to get over himself and stop acting like a superstar. He needs to stop acting like Mr Hurley

That reporter is as bad as the U.S paparazzi. Good On Liz, the reporter can get stuffed!
loading...
SO unclassy.

This was such rude, bitchy behaviour on Hurley’s part!
She was clearly faking that “accidental” bump into the reporter.
And that smug look – very tacky!
Warne has been a too-often-forgiven Aussie “hero” for too long, and Liz’s behaviour is unlikely to reflect well on him at all.
I don’t mind if the two of them go back to England and shack up there forever – they’re a joke here really.

Noooooo…. Warnie in the UK – How embarassment for Aussies!
(However Australia Day coming up shortly – think there’ll be plenty of Aussies creating embarassment for themselves..)

The reporter was just doing her job and Liz walked into her.
I always liked Liz but she comes across as a complete b*tch here.
loading...
I think perhaps she just revealed her true self

How many pairs of white jeans does Liz Hurley own?

Ms Hurley would do well to remember her manners. All she had to do was say ‘excuse me’ and smile politely. It takes very little energy to be polite and a heck of a lot more to be a b**ch.

I think Liz went looking to get her head on tv. She seemed to come from distance behind the reporter & pushed her way thru. Rude. Then when she told the reporter off, the smug little smile & hair toss just makes her look like a horrible person.
Interestingly there don’t seem to have been any tweets about this incident. I’m not on twitter so correct me if I’m wrong.
This couple seem to be proliferic users of twitter/social media so the silence is a bit baffling.

Cork, Caty Price was actually trending on Twitter yesterday afternoon (Perth time), there were so many tweets about it. I heard an entertainment reporter on the radio this morning saying it had been picked up by the tabloids in the UK because of Twitter. The story broke because Caty tweeted it, it was picked up by Perth talkback, and Channel 10 ran a piece about it, and then the Eastern States newspapers began calling, and it went from there…

Thanks Bunny.

What a pretentious biatch.. Shane, you’ve changed mate – you used to be a loveable larrikin – now look at you! Keep strutting Liz, all the way back to London!
loading...
If I never see Liz or Shane in the media again it will be too soon. I have no idea why Shane is held up as a ‘Celebrity’.
loading...
I think she’s attention seeker. All reporters focused on Shane nobody care about here that why I think she did that purposely. However she showed how rude she is. Anyway Shane and Liz really compatible each other, they both the same manners.
loading...
What a bunch of snobs!! And guess what..I couldn’t care about another thing that comes out of either of their mouths EVER again. If they don’t want to talk to us then they can fade into oblivion and do what Liz said!!!
loading...
No, fair enough. They just had a busy flight and the last thing they would want to do is talk to the media.
loading...
A busy flight? Doing what?
loading...
maybe the media should back off some times.i couldnt stand having them harras me all the time
loading...
He was in his cricket team’s travelling gear, which means he’s on duty. A sports reporter is asking him questions about how he played. Hardly a telephoto lens snapping pics of a private swim in a secluded resort, is it?
loading...
I thought this happened at Perth airport – they were leaving Perth and therefore hadn’t had a “busy flight”! They are just attention seeking self important people and Liz has just shown her true colours!
loading...
Yes, I had a reread and realised that too. They’re getting ON the flight.
loading...
Weren’t they leaving Perth?
loading...
Long flight or not, doesn’t excuse bad manners!
loading...
The whole episode stank of self importance! Sure, it wouldn’t be easy living in the spotlight all the time but it is their reality. And come on Liz, there are harder things in life, love – like watching your child die of cancer, losing your job, living on the streets. Personally, I think they should both “F*ck off” back to England. Permanently! What a couple of classless tools!
loading...
Its not that bad until she smiles her little smug smile. That’s what I don’t like, the smile just makes her intentions look nasty.
loading...
Oh Liz darling ! You make your millions by being a public body!
Having a camera lady or man follow you in public is expected surely! Perhaps next time it may help if you dnt have that nose so high up in the air !Might help you focus on your forward step & prevent you from tripping and blaming others!
With a nose held up as high as yours it’s no wonder you tripped and abused another!
loading...
It *is* rude to walk in front of people. I’d be mad too if I constantly had people following me around poking microphones in my face. Liz probably could have handled it more diplomatically but I think we forget that she’s human too and was probably annoyed and embarrassed after being tripped by the reporter.
loading...
She didn’t walk in front of Liz and cut her off though – she was quite a distance behind Shane and the reporter was asking him questions, Liz came barrelling through the middle of them! She was asking him about cricket, which is what they were doing – he was on duty in his cricket gear, travelling for it. It wasn’t as if they were at a restaurant having a quiet dinner!
loading...
Fair enough point if you don’t constantly court the media and have your whole life on display through twitter and magazine articles – BUT LIz and Shane don’t even fart without twittering and doing an interview about it, so sorry but she absoutely no right to then complain when people poke microphones in her face. Especially given the interviewer was asking questions about Shane’s career and was not in any way being impolite.

They are a public couple who have welcomed the press into their lives. As such, they are photographed, filmed and interviewed ALOT. From what I can gather from the constant media reports, this is a departure from the norm for Ms Hurley.
Maybe she was just having a bad day? Her fiancé couldn’t have been the easiest to deal with in the lead up to this incident. Haven’t we all snapped from time to time? Sometimes in public?

Rachel you are so right!!
loading...
There are far more polite words to use than those in my opinion. Silly Girl.
loading...
This is a shame – I was just starting to like Shane and Liz. Totally inappropriate – she was just doing her job. You can say something without being vulgur.
loading...
Good for her !
loading...
If someone was hassling me at an airport I would probably say something similar.
loading...
There are days where I really wish that I could tell people to f#$k off on national TV, lucky bugger.
loading...
Agree with you Rachael 100%!!

love it. there was footage taken just before as well that shows the journalist clearly stepping in front of Liz twice to get to shane. I would be pissed off as well if someone did that to me. Love the Strut afterwards. lol
loading...
what were you watching? Did you see how far back Liz is, and how she came hurrying through?
Totally rude manners – even if someone behaves in a way you don’t like you have the choice to answer graciously, she was just a cat

You know, I couldn’t understand what these two were doing together until yesterday. Now it all makes sense! They’re actually BOTH total bogans.
loading...
The way she flicked her hair and then smiled at Shane was just a bit too “Diva ish” for my liking.
loading...
Oh puh-lease! The reporter was attemnpting to talk to a public sporting figure who is not exactly ‘media shy’… – Liz then deliberately speeds up to step on the reporters heel (she wasn’t ‘standing in front of her or deliberately blocking her.), and then becomes a smug cow and uses profanity in public- What a couple of no class toss bags.
loading...
Couldn’t agree more!
loading...
Yes that’s how it looked to me too.
loading...
WELL SAID!!! HERE HERE….
loading...
I love them! They are the poster couple for the ultimate in cashed up bogans. Will someone PLEASE make a reality show?
loading...
I saw the footage on tv and Liz Hurley was quite far away when the reporter spoke to Shane, she (Liz) then caught up and pushed the reporter out of the way so she could walk next to Shane. When the reporter asked her for a comment, she turned on her. It was embarrasing to watch a grown woman behave like that. She then turned and walked along with Shane, smiling and looking smug like she had done something really amusing.
I don’t like or dislike Liz Hurley, but I saw the footage and my honest assessment is, she behaved c(hurl)ishly.
loading...
I dont blame Liz for reacting like that. Travelling is tiring and stressful for everyone (they obviously didnt have any assistants or minders helping them with luggage etc) and the reporter totally walked in front of her and blocked her path like she wasnt there, and she couldnt walk next to her fiancee. I would be annoyed too.
loading...
I dont have minders helping me with my luggage either but i dont tell people to F*** Off. They were travelling from Perth to Melb so couldnt have had too much luggage.
And all that in front of his children…charming.
loading...
Except for the bit where she was a meter behind Shane and Katie and practically broke into a run to catch up and push through –
She couldn’t have come to Shane’s other side? She couldn’t have said no comment or go away or leave us alone please? Rude arrogant behaviour – I would feel more sorry if they wont both such twitter whores and said on twitter what Katie asked them face to face!
If they had kids or were on holidays, it would have been warranted but it DIRECTLY linked to Shane’s JOB – nothing to do with Liz – I truly believe if Shane had just said I don’t have a comment I just want to check in and rebuffed the reported HIMSELF, it would have stopped Liz feeling like she had to be a slag and ‘stand up’ for her man
