She’s the singer everyone’s talking about. Last week she walked away from the Grammys with 6 awards. Today these photos of the house estate she’s apparently renting in England have been released. Two swimming pools, a tennis court, a private chapel and staff quarters – set on a lazy 25 acres. So your average mansion, really.

Here’s 5 things you need to know about Adele:

1. She goes by the name Adele, but her real name is Adele Laurie Blue Adkins and she’s only 23. 23!!!

2. She credits the Spice Girls as being one of her major musical influences.

3. She first attracted the attention of record companies after her friend posted some demos on Myspace in 2006, and she first shot to fame after she performed on Saturday Night Live in 2008. Here is that clip.

4. She’s released two albums – 19 in 2008 and 21 in early 2011. The names correspond to her age at the time the album was being recorded.
