Do You Like This Story?

Zooey Deschanel, Rose Byrne, Lily Collins and Jessica Paré. They’re just some of the stars who put their hand up to be photographed with “not a drop of make-up” (but a touch of Photoshop) for a recent spread in People Magazine.

The images appear in People’s Most Beautiful issue, which also features Beyonce on the cover - with make-up. Read into that what you will.

Have a look at the pics, which we’ve placed next to pic of the same celebs with make-up. What do you think?

this is kinda ironic becuz in the making of lundons bridge (for paris jackson’s first photoshoot) they were makeuping her, as well as for the people’s magazine. they shouldnt say celebrities without drop of makeup, they should say celebrities with practicly no makeup or natural makeup. duhh poeple are so naive.

this post definitely made me smile after a hard day of work (living in london…would explain the ‘late to the party post’)

heres a pic of my brother and I – both completely fresh faced and happy.

(please disregard my brothers poor excuse of a moustache)

I’m not sure why people are upset about a 14 year old being included. Of course you expect that 14 year old’s wouldn’t be wearing makeup daily to school, but most would have a little bit make up at home.

I remember on my 13th birthday I got a pale pink lip gloss and some soft pink blush…. Just to be used as a bit of fun on weekends.

Personally, I’d rather see 14 year old Paris Jackson looking like she does above with subtle makeup than some other teenagers with it caked on. Like Taylor Momsen for example.

When I look at pics of all of these “glamorous” celebs without their designer makeup on their moosh…..I honestly don’t feel quite so ordinary or average looking !

To all of the women who think of their looks as average….you’re the genuine superstars !

That photo of Paris Jackson reminds me of that famous National Geographic cover of the girl with amazing green eyes – I guess maybe that’s what the photographer had in mind too??

They all cover up their cute freckles!

I think freckles gives you heaps of character! Though of course you shouldn’t try to go out in the sun to get them, lots of sunscreen people :)

I know! I love my freckles. In fact, apart from desperately needing mascara (or a tint) for my blonde eyelashes, I am always surprised to see that I look best in photos when I don’t have foundation on. Still love makeup though :-)

There is no way that child is half black!!! I don’t care what anyone says, she is not biologically his!!! Gorgeous girl though, though agree with the commenter below that why the need to put a 14 year old girl in there. I think the first time I wore makeup was my year 10 formal.

It has been disclosed that the sperm was also donated for Michael Jackson’s children. For some reason many people choose to believe otherwise.

I’ve always thought it sad that a man with so much natural talent would choose not to pass on his own genes due to his personal sickness against not wanting to have dark skin.

it has not be disclosed, for goodness sakes. You read too many gossip magazines. So far about 6 different men have “disclosed” that they are her father… Could it be, could it just REALLY be that Michael Jackson may be her biological father? Everything about her look screams mixed race….

Comments like yours are so irresponsible and mean-spirited.

And even so, if Michael Jackson was not her biological father, would that ever make a lick of difference? He provided, cared, and loved her as a father would… would you be so quick to point out to an adopted child that their “father” or mother was not so?

No, you wouldn’t. I’m so tired of reading about people going on about how he was not her Dad. As far as I’m concerned and I’m sure she is concerned, he was most definitely her father.

And yes, she is totally stunning. Don’t think the place in the magazine is suitable for a 14 yr old, but anyway…

I made no comment on whether adoptive or parents of donor children made any less loving parents. Please don’t put words in my mouth.

But he is not her biological father and I think it’s a shame if his only reason was his distaste towards his natural colour.

Can’t believe they would include a 14 year old in that spread. For goodness sakes…. a 14 year old should not look any different without make up on!!! She is not used to it yet!

I wouldn’t let my daughter wear make up, but I have to admit, I was wearing a crap wad of eyeliner when I was 12/13.

she sort of reminds me of the brunette girl in the only way is essex (was watching it on the weekend with my little sis). Her response to my awe at her lips was that you get used to it the more you watch the show.

i think they all look great without makeup (great with it too). good on them. Michel Jackson’s daughter has beautiful eyes. And i want Zooey Deschanel’s hair. It is one of my life’s great disappointments that i can’t have a fringe like that, damn cows lick.

Read Zoe Foster’s ‘Fringe Theory’ article! http://www.mamamia.com.au/style/the-zoe-foster-fringe-theory/
I have ringlet-y, frizzy hair and a massive cowlick, but have just had a Zoe-Deschanel hair cut and my fringe sits perfectly straight, full and un-cowlick-y every day (even in rain!) thanks to Zoe Foster ha
Try it, just finish at step 4! Takes minutes :)

These photos are always a bit suss – although it appears they aren’t fully made up, how come their skin tone is always perfect (no zits, no redness, etc)? Maybe they’re just naturally perfect – dammit lol. But if it was me, there would be bags under eyes, red nose, zit on chin haha.

My guess about your skin query is they probably have access to all the best skin specialists. Us mere mortals wouldnt be able to afford or maintain a high level skincare routine which may be necessary to carry off a flawless complexion. That and they already are genetically gifted (to some) so it stands to reason that the gifts may extend to lovely skin.
