Celeb News: Delta's accidental racist moment on The Voice.

1. Delta Goodrem’s accidentally racist moment.

Music industry veteran, Steve Clisby earned a place on Team Seal with his rendition of ‘Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love’ by Barry White last night but it was not without controversy.

Delta was the first judge to speak to the contestant calling him “one cool cat,” she then said, “you have such an amazing voice”.

To which Clisby replied, “but you didn’t turn around,” a clearly flustered Goodrem then attempted to recover by saying, “I genuinely was… kinda feeling…. like Seal’s brother”.

Seal and Clisby were both visibly dumbfounded by her comments and Seal retorted with “Oh. We’re both black, so he’s coming on my team.”

Goodrem then tried to explain, “I meant as in the soul thing, I didn’t mean anything else.” It all ended well with Seal hugging Goodrem and Clisby laughing off the foot-in-mouth moment. You can watch the clip here.

Fans also took to Twitter to slam the show’s ending, in which the red chairs failed to turn around even though Ricky Martin and Joel Madden were madly pressing the buzzers.

A mother-of-one, known only as Mariam, has appeared on a US morning show revealing why she has given up trying to control the facial hair that began growing after the birth of her son 28 years ago.

The 49-year-old explained her decision: “I didn’t feel brave…it was more curiosity and what happens with me – will I be more myself if I let it grow? And how will people react?

“There was this big fear that if I would show it that everybody would turn away from me and nobody would talk to me any more.”

She also revealed she is ready to start dating: “Yes. Now I’m ready to have a relationship. I feel more confident and know myself better then when I was younger… I am happy.”

Mariam also appears as a ‘bearded lady’ in a circus act and explains her reasons for doing so is to help reduce the stigma.

9.Peta get outraged a lot, but this time we agree.

Oh, geez. A shoot for Harper’s Bazaar magazine, titled The Animal Nursery, styled by Carine Roifeld and featuring models Kate Upton and Irina Shayk has sparked anger from animal rights activists.

The spread, titled which will appear in all 26 international editions of the magazine depicts Upton playing nurse to baby endangered species.

PETA argues in a statement published on Fashionista.com that the endangered animals are being treated like props.

“The gibbon featured in the photographs is an infant and should be with his mother at all times. Besides the emotional trauma that he has undoubtedly suffered as a result of the separation, his delicate immune system is still developing, and he is susceptible to illnesses that humans carry. All the animals in the photographs are endangered and should be protected, rather than being treated like props.”

And as anyone who has worked in fashion or magazines knows, fashion shoots can really drag out.

As for the gibbon wearing an animal print nappy, we have no words.
