She’s got more than 3 million followers, but until a few days ago the @Beyonce Twitter account had never sent a tweet.

Over the weekend, Beyonce sent out her first tweet, joined Tumblr and basically created media mayhem. The ‘Beyonce: I Am‘ Tumblr is filled with candid shots of the pop star alongside her husband Jay Z and sister, Solange.
