Gwyneth's R-rated r/ship advice, The Great Gatsby black carpet & Beyonce's tour demands.

It’s been a busy week in celeb world. But lucky for you, we’ve summarised the best bits. Right here. Enjoy.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow’s interesting relationship advice.

You may or may not have noticed that Gwyneth Paltrow is EVERYWHERE at the moment.

The 40-year-old appeared on Chelsea Handler’s late night show, Chelsea Lately, on Monday night when Handler revealed that Paltrow had once advised a female friend to resolve an argument with her husband by giving him oral sex.

Paltrow clearly unaware that her marriage advice was going to be revealed on live television, as she covered her face with her hands and exclaimed, “What if my mom is watching this show?”

This is what Chelsea told the audience:

“We were at a dinner party one night and this girl was asking for advice and Gwyneth is an amazing advice giver.

“The woman was saying ‘I got into a big fight with my husband and I got home and I wanted to scream and yell’ and Gwyneth was like ‘Whatever you’re doing just do the opposite, just go at him with love and you give him a blow job’.”

You’d kinda want her to be a guest at your next dinner party, huh?

And not everyone was amused by the annual event, Sarah Palin took to Twitter to air her disgust:

b) The Great Gatsby New York premiere

Baz Luhrmann’s latest project premiered in New York this week on a black carpet instead of a red one. Because, you know, ART.

Naturally, Carey Mulligan stole the show in an incredible Lanvin red dress, while Aussie Isla Fisher went the floral road – which really kinda works. The boys all rocked dapper suits and Anna Wintour even made an appearance, but didn’t crack a smile. With teeth anyway.

We don’t get the film down under until May 30 so check out the red black carpet pics here:

According to News Ltd the 31-year-old singer “forked out $900 for titanium straws, which will be used to drink a special alkaline water that’s served at exactly 21 degrees.”

Also on her list is a new toilet seat at every venue, red toilet paper, off-white walls in her dressing room and a hand-carved ice ball to suck on after performances. No biggie.

Alright, there’s more – according to the source, Beyonce also insists her crew wear only 100 per cent pure cotton, “presumably to save her from allergic reactions” and bans junk food “in favour of glass platters of almonds, oatcakes and green-only crudités”.
But whatever, she’s fabulous.

“This was just a good time to do it. She is in between projects. This has always been part of the plan. She would manage her health. She is vigilant about it.”

In 2011, the actress also spent time in a Connecticut mental-health facility for the disorder, at the time her husband of 11 years, Michael Douglas, was also battling cancer.

We wish her well, but why is this a big deal again?
