The surprising way Brad and Angelina stay in love on set.

Ange and Brad continue to remind you that their romance is better than yours.

How’d they do it this time?

Snail mail, that’s how.

Angelina Jolie has revealed that she and partner Brad Pitt reverted to the old school way of romantic communication while they were simultaneously shooting movies set in World War II on the opposite sides of the world.

In an interview with TV Week, Angelina said that while she was shooting Unbroken in Australia and Brad filmed Fury in London, the pair ditched the more convenient but infinitely less romantic options of email and text messaging in favour of exchanging letters written by hand and sent by snail mail.

Jolie told TV Week, “[Brad] was supportive from a distance and it was quite romantic in a way… We decided to be of that time when we could imagine he was in the European theatre and I was in the Pacific theatre and we wrote hand-written letters to each other that were very connecting for us, thinking of the people that were separated for months if not years at a time back then.”

This latest glimpse into the A-list relationship comes the same week it was revealed that Brangelina will be teaming up in an as-yet-untitled film project; the first since the one which infamously sparked their romance, Mr & Mrs Smith from 2005.

Unbroken, Jolie’s sophomore directorial effort, chronicles the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who wastaken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II and gets released to cinemas on 25 December 2014.

Otherwise, just gawk at their beautiful faces for a bit, yeah?
