The Bachelor Australia had just produced our original Bachie/chiropractor/topless waiter, Tim Robards, 32, who asked the lovely Anna Henreich, 27, if she wanted to go steady during the thrilling finale. She said yes, all was right with the world.
Yet, the first Bachelor wedding happened over the weekend and it wasn’t Tim and Anna…
Model Emily met camera man Ben on the set of The Bachelor. Emily made the top nine before Tim realised there was no spark and it was obvious to everyone that Anna was the one.
As it turn out, it’s great Emily was, er, invited to leave by Tim – look how happy she is now:
The wedding took place at Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel on Saturday with guests including fellow Bachelorettes Sarah Amey and Kathryn Schmidhofer (who is now pregnant) and Rachel Gilbert acting as one of the bridesmaids.
Many guests took to Instagram throughout the ceremony with Tim snapping a pic of the happy couple with the caption, “Wedding No.2 for the day! Congrats to my two great friends Em and Ben on beating me to it! I love you guys and the playful energy you have!” Possibly hinting that another Bachelor wedding might be on the way soon.
The Bachelor Finale: Tim and Anna take care of that ‘Rochelle problem’.
Emily and Ben announced their engagement on Instagram last July after Ben popped the question at Robert Sinskey Vineyards in the Napa Valley in the US.
