How do you show the depth and extent of your love for a friend? By doing the splits. In a ball gown and high heels of course.

Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep became good friends during the filming of The Devil Wears Prada and when Meryl was recognised for her lifetime contribution to American culture at The Kennedy Center Honors held at the White House earlier this week  – Anne was there (and so were the rest of the cast – watch till the end).
