Pfft, most of those women are huge? How ridiculous. People like Christina Hendricks, Rooney Mara and Jennifer Lawrence are not huge, in fact I would only label one of the women in those pictures as huge. How ignorant to assume someone with curves sits on their ass all day eating junk and then call them disgusting.

Not quite sure if I agree with any of the above. I believe being beautiful is eating in moderation, not too much and not too little. Getting some exercise everyday even if it is just walking.

I am a size 8-10, I eat healthy most of the time and occasionally enjoy a bowl of ice-cream. Many of the above women are huge, size 16 plus (apart from Lucy) and I just don’t see how eating junk food all day and not exercising could be perceived as beautiful? That’s simply treating your body like a dump yard..

Why can’t the “beautiful” woman be normal everyday size 8 – 12 women who lead normal lives in moderation??? Not super skinny models and not fat women who need to find a treadmill…

Sorry for being harsh but unless you have a medical condition being that overweight is not healthy or beautiful it’s disgusting.

It’s great seeing more tv shows and films – like Bridesmaids, The Office, Girls, 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy – with women who aren’t super skinny over perfectly-modelesquely-beautiful. It shows that women can still be interesting, attractive and worth watching even when their looks aren’t necessarily their greatest asset. Which is nice, since that’s the case for most/many women in real life!

I remember when Tyra Banks told the media on her show how proud she was of her body and to ‘kiss my big fat ass’ after unflattering photos were published of her in a bathing suit. She then promptly went and lost a lot of weight. So which is it?
