Elsa Pataky has shared her recipe for the ultimate green juice but there's a catch.

Oh, green juice. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about drinking it before moving onto something stronger.

But apparently, I need to change my skeptical thinking, because if I want a Hollywood bod, green juice is the secret.

The latest celebrity to confirm my greatest fears is honorary Aussie Elsa Pataky, who, alongside her personal trainer, attributed green juice to her buff-as-steel body.

"Super good," the 40-year-old Fast and Furious actress told OK! Magazine, after listing off the ingredients of her custom-made juice.

"An apple, a carrot, some celery with the green leaves, a lemon without the peel," the mum-of-three said, adding, "Once it's done, you add a few teaspoons of olive oil."

That's it, friends. Body cleanse and a flat stomach is coming your way, apparently.

Elsa, can't you tell us that the secret is french fries and thick shakes?

Can't you just lie to us? Just once.

(It'll feel good, I promise. Just like eating pizza on a Friday night does.)

And look, I know I'm going to sound like negative Nancy now, but green juice is not going to transform anyone's body. Not yours, and definitely not mine.

It will probably put a pep in your step and give you more energy than a glass of water would, but save your soul and shred your fat away? Nope, sorry, I'm not buying it.

I love Elsa Pataky, and her husband Chris Hemsworth, and the picture-perfect life they seem to live with their three kids in Byron Bay, but for the love of God, can people please start showing some respect for strong coffee and deep fried food? If for no other reason than to appease this immature and sulky writer.
