pregnancy

The amazing photo that proves that no two pregnant bodies are alike.

We all know pregnant bellies come in all shapes and sizes – but this photo shows just how dramatic the difference can be.

Queensland fitness model Chontel Duncan and her friend are both expecting – they are just four weeks apart in their pregnancies, in fact.

But as this photo dramatically proves, they are carrying their babies very differently:

I was surprised with a cute visit today from a friend Nat who is also expecting ???? Just being able to see someone in the flesh, rub her tummy, hear how incredible her journey has been so far, how healthy baby is & all the fun talk about kicks, food, names etc was beautiful. This is Nat’s 3rd pregnancy so she had a lot of great advice to share ☺️ It’s very clear in this photo just how tall I am, I mean my chin sits above Nat’s head lol We worked out that we are 4 weeks apart, so our little ones will be the same age, same grade at school and potential best buds hehehehe….. Nat’s due start of March & I’m due end of March. Each women carries different and this most certainly doesn’t mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy etc. We both have healthy growing babies & we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing & full of energy. #21.5weeks #expecting #march2016 #pregnant #love #happiness #Babyduncan

Duncan, who is 186cm, is pregnant with her first child, while her much-shorter friend Nat is expecting her third. The trainer uploaded the eye-catching photo to Instagram and said it showed that every pregnancy was unique – and beautiful. “Each woman carries different and this most certainly doesn’t mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy etc. We both have healthy growing babies and we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing and full of energy,” she wrote.

BUMP UPDATE ???? 36 weeks… only 28 days to go ???? Boy do I feel pregnant, this tummy is massive, heavy, makes sitting up so difficult, rolling over in bed a funny task, trying my sneakers hard work & my back has its moments where it throbs. It’s exciting because these are all NEW signs & signs that mean Little D is almost here. I’m interested to know where my waters will break hahaha… (If they do) Imagine if they broke this weekend at the hens in the valley or next weekend at my challenge break up party in the city OR while training in front of my clients hehehe… would be hilarious!!!! As of next week I have been instructed to commence some useful techniques to help bring on labour; 1) have sex daily ???? most hilarious convo 2) stimulate my nipples every time I use the bathroom ???? 3) increase my raspberry leaf tablets to 6 per day ???? Predictions are that I’ll labour around 4hrs & push for 30mins… fingers crossed these predictions are correct, that just sounds like a dream come true!!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy and your positive message Chontel – it’s something all of us need to hear more often.
