Dannii Minogue has gone back to the ’90s.
Don’t get too excited there — she hasn’t found a functioning time machine and transported herself back to 1997 (one day, one day…).
Instead, the pop star’s trip back in time comes courtesy of her hair. As she shared on Instagram today, Dannii has swapped her naturally dark hair for a bright blonde.

In her caption, the 45-year-old describes the look as a “’90s colour reboot”. Now, in case you:
(a) aren’t old enough to clearly remember what celebrities looked like in the ’90s, or
(b) have, well, forgotten the ’90s altogether
…here’s a little look at what Dannii’s hair looked like this time 20 years ago, in the music video for her song All I Wanna Do:
“The last time I was blonde was in the 90s... the timing is fun for this,’’ Minogue told the Herald Sun.
If she has her way, the mum of one might even take her new hair one step further.
"This is wild for me now.... I am desperate to get a bit of pink into it. Back in the day I used to be crazy with all the different colours, haircuts, shaved bits on the side and underneath," she added.

Dannii's new (well... new-but-old-but-new) look was created by L'Oreal Professionel Australia.
The hair and beauty company posted footage of their "first celebrity hair muse" seeing her lighter hair for the first time — and judging by the delight on her face, it's safe to say Dannii didn't go home in tears after feigning excitement in the salon chair.
(We've all been there, come on.)
