Celeb news: Julia Roberts' sister found dead after an apparent overdose.

 

 

 

In sad news today, Pretty Woman star Julia Roberts has lost her half-sister, Nancy Motes.

Motes, 37, was found dead in her Los Angeles house on Sunday but the circumstances of her death are unclear.

It’s suspected that she died of an overdose.

“It is with deep sadness that the family of Nancy Motes … confirms that she was found dead in Los Angeles yesterday of an apparent drug overdose,” read a statement from the family.

“There is no official report from the Coroner’s office yet. The family is both shocked and devastated.”

Motes was the youngest sibling of Julia and Eric Roberts, and Lisa Roberts Gillan.

Legendary Hollywood actor Samuel L Jackson (The Avengers, Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, Captain America) just gave the ultimate response to a TV reporter who mistook him for Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix).

“We don’t all look the same!” he bellowed at LA reporter Sam Rubin, who spent the rest of the interview looking sheepish and confused.

David Beckham, baby girl Harper and the other little Beckham boys sat in the front row of Victoria Beckham’s show at New York Fashion Week. And it’s probably the cutest front row family we’ve ever seen.

All the famous people out for a Beatles tribute

It’s 50 years since The Beatles appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show, which catapulted four young Liverpudlian boys to worldwide fame.

To celebrate, the remaining two members, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, reunited for a special performance. They were joined on stage by a tribe of famous musicians, each taking a Beatles song to cover.
