Sia does Carpool Karaoke. It's a good thing she's not driving.

The front seat of James Corden’s car has almost seen as many performers as the Grammys stage, and now a very heavily wigged Sia has joined The Late Late Show host for a cruise around the ‘burbs of California.

As soon as the pair hit the road they quickly started to to work through some of Sia’s greatest hits, including Chandelier and Diamonds.

The pair also got talking about Sia’s decision to don the wig when she’s out in public.

“I don’t wear this unless there’s cameras around. I only wear this to try and maintain a modicum of privacy,” the artist told Corden.

“I was a singer already for 10 or 11 years to mediocre success and I was an alcoholic and a drug addict and I sobered up and decided I  didn’t want to be an artist anymore because I started to be a little bit famous and it was destabilising in some ways. So I thought what doesn’t exist in pop music at the moment and it was mystery. You know there’s an Instagram of everyone at the dentist.”

“I would be distraught if someone said, ‘I’ll tell you how we can make you a star James. Cover that up.’,” Corden told the star after hearing her team supported the decision for the star to hide her face in public.

James then got really into character, donning a Sia inspired wig to finish off the journey. Thankfully, he was still able to keep his eyes on the road. Safety first, Corden, safety first.
