Best and worst and all the rest

Hooray it is the weekend!  It’s been a busy week on Mamamia, we have covered everything from euthanasia to ballet and parenting to penises.  Now it is time to sit back and reflect on the good and the bad and everything in between.  Me first

BEST: I saw a beautiful friend I used to work with at Cleo almost 20 years ago. I haven’t seen or spoken to her in so many years (maybe 10?) but we just picked up our conversation mid-flow as if we’d never fallen out of touch.

WORST: My friend has just had a double mastectomy after losing her mother to cancer a few years ago. Her story is compelling and so I persuaded her to let me film our conversation on the floor. I’ll be posting the video shortly. Check back.
