We can't stop staring at Rebecca Judd's unconventional Christmas tree.

This weekend, the Judd family decided to assemble their Christmas tree.

But, unsurprisingly, it’s not your typical plastic tree with some tinsel and baubles messily thrown on. In fact, Rebecca, Chris, and their four children are celebrating around a tree so trendy, it’s not even a tree at all.

In an Instagram post of the “tree” the TV presenter revealed her retired AFL footballer husband “almost breaks his back every year” when getting it out of storage because it’s “so heavy”.

Why all the fuss? Well, it turns out the Judd’s Christmas tree consists of criss-crossed, recycled branches.

Of course, many of Judd’s followers had passionate opinions about her choice of Christmas tree.

“Yuck! That is not a Christmas Tree!” wrote one commenter, while another said, “Nope, not doing it for me!”

Another questioned Judd’s description, writing “What do you mean recycled branches? Don’t you mean branches?”

Still others said her choice was “very disappointing,”  arguing “this would be nice as a small table setting but not to replace a traditional Christmas tree!”

Nonetheless, the 33-year-old has proven time and time again she has an eye for minimalist, chic, modern home decor and last month wowed her fans with a clever Christmas-themed play mat for her twin boys.

Judd posted an image for her followers of her two-year-old daughter Billie proudly hanging Christmas decorations off Darcy and Tom’s play mat to Instagram.
