A rather disgusting scene was cut from The Beauty And The Beast film.

Without a doubt one of the most successful films of 2017, the Beauty and The Beast remake has captured the hearts and minds of viewers.

Starring none other than Emma Waston, the film (which has so far pulled in AU$1.67 billion, yes BILLION, at the box office) is one for the ages. It’s the perfect blend of nostalgia, kid-friendly comedy, and romance. We know this.

But what we didn’t know, was that there was a filthy scene that never made it into the final production.

One that employs toilet humour, no less.

You see, given that every human living in the castle was transformed into objects under the handsome prince’s curse, there was a tiny little problemo with the toilet. Does the toilet… come to life, too?

In the original cut, it did, featuring a character dubbed “Monsieur Toilette”, to be specific, that was played by comedian Stephen Merchant.

In case you’re not following, this entailed Merchant playing a living and breathing toilet – you know, one that ate and drank excrement.

And that’s precisely what the producers wanted to depict, before they watched it all back and thought ‘Erm, we really shouldn’t include these potty gags’.

Here’s the deleted scene we all missed out on:

Oh, and because that didn’t make the cut, neither did this:

We think we speak for everyone when we say the movie was richer for not having either of these included, right?

Right.
