It looks like The Bachelorette's Sam Johnston has scored an impressive new job.

We’re pretty sure we know why Sam Johnston was on The Bachelorette – and it probably wasn’t to win Georgia Love’s heart.

But the model’s dreams may have just come true, with The Daily Telegraph’s Confidential reporting that he has landed a presenting role at Channel 10.

There’s no word yet on what the presenting role might be, but the newspaper also reported that Sam had turned down offers from other networks due to the contract he signed with Channel 10.

Sam was spotted filming with Sophie Monk in November, what is now understood to be a reality TV pilot about the radio host’s life.

He hinted at the on-screen appearance with a couple of posts to his Instagram account last week, telling followers that he had “fun” filming with the star.

“Can’t wait for you guys to see it! It’s going to be hilarious,” he wrote.

The 27-year-old first tried to hide his modelling background while on The Bachelorette, but was eventually open about his career goals.

He famously told Georgia during his showdown date with Rhys that his reasons for being on the show had little to do with her.

“The plan was to head back (to the US) and live in LA and pursue acting, bit of presenting. Maybe you can teach me,” he told a clearly stunned Georgia.

“I think presenting’s kinda cool and being on camera and the media and, yeah, it was kind of heading that direction before this.

“Um…but this has just given me like a little kick to get moving quicker.”
