The new Bachelorette has been revealed.

This is it, Australia. After months of speculation we believe the identity of our new Bachelorette has finally been revealed and no, it’s not Lana Jeavons-Fellows.

Introducing 29-year-old television journalist Georgia Love, who has also been a trapeze artist and dance teacher.

Tasmanians will likely be familiar with Georgia, who is beamed into homes across the state from behind the desk at Win News every night of the week.

New Idea today  confirmed the news reader had landed the gig, quoting friends who said she was perfect for the role.

According to sources the new job has been an open secret at the WIN offices for some time.

Listen to Rosie Waterland's theory about Georgia on the latest episode of The Binge:

‘Georgia’s been unlucky in love, but she’s a hopeless romantic,’ a friend told the magazine.

It seems the new role has been in the works for a while as the Hobart-based journo cheekily hinted on her Instagram account few months back.

Her last name is LOVE - she's the perfect candidate.

Channel 10 has yet to officially confirm the new Bachelorette.

We're #teamgeorgie all the way.
