A former Bachelor contestant was uninvited from the Brownlow. She was not happy.

It’s no secret that attending the AFL Brownlow Award takes a lot of preparation.

There’s weeks of planning your gown, organising hair, makeup, spray tan, jewellery… the list goes on.

Now imagine you’ve done all that, only to discover the DAY OF that you’re actually not attending.

It’s the situation an ex Bachelor contestant found herself in this morning. (Post continues after gallery.)

Natalie Sady, who appeared in the first season of The Bachelor Australia with Tim Robards, wrote on Instagram of her disappointment and frustration.

An incredible amount of effort goes in to walking the red carpet. Tonight I was due to walk the Brownlow red carpet. With the help of many amazing people I had pulled something truly special together. Unfortunately due to one persons mistake that only came to light this morning, myself and some others have been left in the lurch and without the tickets offered to us. I’d like to thank and apologise to @silvanatedescocouture @suziespraytans @jeanettemaree @loulashoes @thehairsprayqueen You have all been amazing. ????????????. . . . #model #modellife #brownlow #shineyourlight #lifeisnothingwithoutpassion #myjob #workhard #lovelife #rattlethestars #photography #fashion #redcarpet #watchme #work #beauty #strength #fierce #silver #chasedreams #neverquit #thisisme #perfection #rise #fearless #overcome #success #succeed #couture #dominate #roar

“Unfortunately due to one person’s mistake that only came to light this morning, myself and some others have been left in the lurch and without the tickets offered to us.”

She went on to thank and apologise to the designers, spray tanners and hair and makeup artists who had helped her.

She told News Corp that she “didn’t want to throw anybody under the bus” but that it was ‘someone’s PA” who made the error that meant she was no longer able to attend as somebody’s guest as she was invited as a few weeks ago.

It was reportedly a “very time consuming process” calling her contacts to see who was able to dress her and she told the site she was out of pocket for various beauty treatments like manicure, pedicure and a spray tan.
“It’s not just disappointment for me, it’s everyone who worked to get my red carpet look together,” she told News Corp.
“All these people have given their time and resources to make this happen — I did it all without the help of a stylist and nobody gets to see it.”
Instead, Sady will watch the awards at home with her sister and a glass of wine. Just like us.
