Madeleine is an emerging director working primarily in documentary. Her films tackle controversial issues with warmth and delicacy. Named Emerging Filmmaker at the 2011 South Australian Screen Awards, her first short doco, Murder Mouth was awarded Best Film at the 2011 Bondi Film Festival, Silver at Shorts Film Festival 2012 and nominated at Jameson's IF Awards 2011. Madeleine recently completed a half hour commissioned by the ABC, and is currently in production on a documentary for festival release courtesy the South Australian Film Corporation's 2012 Short Film Fund. Maddie has also worked in print, radio, dance and created visual scapes for theatre. Maddie will continue to explore the trickier sides of life through engaging, thought- provoking documentary.
