Ashley Hart writes a poem to announce she's separating from her husband.

In what might be the most unusual breakup announcement since Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin “consciously uncoupled” in 2014, Ashley Hart has shared the news she is separating with her husband of two years – with a poem.

The Australian model made the sad announcement on Instagram, alongside her poem called ‘Infinite Dance’ and a photo of her and former partner Buck Palmer dancing on a hilltop.

The Infinite Dance. We danced as we moved to life’s perfect beat, Here where we always meet, Not needing to think about the steps of our feet. Where it lead us, we Perceived we achieved, Yet it came a time Unable to hear the music we once believed. Spun around and dipped down, Innocent smiles turned to darken frowns. Shattering dreams of how it’s ‘supposed’ to be, I tried to make it work with every part of me. Lessons, Growth and Explanation of heart, To encompass the fear, hurt and what felt like Tearing us apart. Letting go in complete surrender, Allowing ourselves to be moved again, Separate ways may be perceived with pain, Yet it is this undeniable expansion of love we forever Gain, I feel this Beat, this movement, Truly never stop, Forever Infinitely dancing, like us now, on this Hill top. Here I am, Love, known deeper than ever Before, Like you say baby, it’s just taken another form. Always with me, never apart, Forever you @buckpalmer are in my Heart. #Infinitelove #infiniteDance #Omkara music ???? #Completesurrender #letGoLetLove

She concluded the post by telling jewellery designer Palmer he would be “Forever in [her] heart.”

Her friends and followers were quick to praise her positive take on a difficult situation.

“You’re literally on another level. Wishing you both peace and love in your ways… may the next dance be as amazing as this one,” one follower wrote.

Another added, “Your words just really got me .. I understand it completely … it’s a difficult transformation.. but you are good with difficult.”

The couple also released a joint statement yesterday.

“Our happiness evolved into a deep friendship that we will always have, but we have come to the conclusion that the path forward for both of us is best travelled as separate journeys,’’ they said.

“We celebrate the time we had together and they are times we would never change. There is sadness in dreams unrealised however we continue to deeply love and respect each other and wish each other nothing but love and kindness.”

I see you …

The pair, who got engaged in 2014 in the South of France, married in a secret elopement in LA in 2015.

“We had been planning [a wedding] and then we woke up one morning and said to each other, ‘Do you want to just get married now?’ We did this really spontaneous, just-the-two-of-us wedding which was beautiful. I am Mrs Palmer,” she told the Herald Sun.

The model last shared a picture with Palmer close to four months ago, captioned with another poem.

“We stop.. All stops.. We kiss.. All moves.. floating in the stillness of this alive dance Groove.
This beginning, that has no ending.. Or never Truly start.. Non existence in this moment, only the Beat of the One Heart,” she wrote.
