Two and a Half Men. Are you Supposed to Watch it or Not?

Spoke to soon? Perhaps Angus T. Jones had a change of heart or maybe he realized that you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you — either way, the 19-year old star has issued an apology for encouraging people to stop watching Two and a Half Men. Yes, the very show that pays him a reported $350,000 per episode.

This retraction is in response to a video that was released by a Christian group called the Forerunner Chronicles, where the teen star was caught describing the CBS hit as "filth."

"Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and a Half Men whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family," Jones said in a statement Tuesday night.

The star continued by thanking show creator Chuck Lorre, exec Peter Roth, Warner Brothers and CBS for "one of the most significant experiences

"I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed," Jones concludes. "I never intended that."

Sounds like someone is trying to clean up the mess they created!

Well, if Jones really does want off the show, his former costar Charlie Sheen doesn't blame him. In the wake of this video confession, the former Vatican assasin warlock called the CBS comedy "cursed."

"With Angus' Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed," Sheen told People on Tuesday.

Sheen knows a thing or two about that subject, having lost his own lucrative Two and a Half Men job during a 2011 meltdown. But Sheen has always been a loose cannon, whereas the show's youngest star took his coworkers entirely by surprise when he slammed the show.

"No one saw this coming. Everyone was completely blindsided and had no idea he wanted off the show. It's crazy," a show insider told E! News. "He gets along with everyone and has always been professional. This is definitely something new and the cast and crew are worried about him. It seems really out of character. He is a good guy. He really is."

Christopher Hudson, the Seventh-Day Adventist minister who interviewed Jones for the controversial video, denies that the actor's statements were out of character. "I've only known Angus for a short period of time now, but the time that I got to spend with him in our conversation, the type of individual he is — this young man is very intelligent, pensive individual," Hudson told E! News on Tuesday. "He is one that can think and do for himself and that impressed me because I didn't think I would see that in a young man in his position. Angus is speaking from his heart, his experience, his search and his understanding."

And another show insider says that Angus' religious rebellion is nothing compared to Charlie Sheen's epic breakdown. "It's odd behavior for sure, but with Charlie they were scared for his life. They were scared something was going to happen," the source pointed out. "This isn't the case with Angus."

So will the show go on without Angus? E!'s sources suggest that the producers will try to smooth things over, but Vulture points out that Two and a Half Men is already on the rocks, thanks to plummeting ratings and expensive actors. Jones' rebellion could very well push the show into cancellation territory.

But while CBS is figuring out their next move, a certain NBC star is taking this opportunity to promote his own comedy. Rainn Wilson has posted a parody of Jones' video to his Facebook page, in which he and costar Craig Robinson urge viewers to stop watching the "filth" that is The Office. "Take it from me, who's on The Office, please don't watch it, Thursday nights at 9 on NBC," says Wilson. "Do not watch this final season or that filth will rot your brain. Seriously." But do watch Wilson's video, below!
