Amal Clooney has showed off her baby bump for the first time since it was revealed that she and husband George are expecting twins.
The 39-year-old human rights lawyer walked the red carpet at the Cesar Awards in Paris, and looked absolutely gorgeous in a bump-hugging white dress with feather detail.
“Beyoncé is not the only superstar expecting twins,” Chen said on the CBS show.
“Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney.”
George, 55, couldn’t help but gush about the news during an interview on the French program Rencontres de Cinema.
“We are really happy and really excited. It’s going to be an adventure,” he said.
The Money Monster star also spoke about how his friends reacted when he told them the good news: “It got really quiet and they all just started making baby crying noises, and the whole table just busted up laughing.”
He said that his pals did joke about his age, but said that he looks to other actors who have had their children at a later age like Jean-Paul Belmondo, who had a baby with his second wife at the age of 70 in 2003.
“So, I’m feeling a little better about being 56 by the time [the twins arrive],” he joked.
The Clooney twins are due in June.

Is it just me, or do other people feel slightly nauseous at society's obsession with "baby bumps"? Is it because people feel they can celebrate a woman looking larger on account of a "bump", but not if she's just fat? Personally, I don't see the appeal.
