1. Alex Nation is reportedly-unconfirmed-but-god-we-hope-so engaged.

Gah. Remain calm. REMAIN CALM EVERYONE. Alex Nation is engaged to her partner, Maegan Luxa.

And by engaged, we mean ‘reportedly-unconfirmed-but-god-we-hope-so’ engaged.

This morning, news broke the former Bachelor winner and her partner of three-months might – we repeat MIGHT – have decided to put a ring on it, with the pair seen out and about enjoying life, drinking smoothies, tossing rocks into the ocean etc.

Now, as neither Alex nor Maegan have confirmed this news themselves, we aren’t peeing out pants with excitement just yet. But there are a few reasons we have a sneaky suspicion/no bloody idea this information to be true:

A) SHE’S WEARING A RING.

Look, we don’t support pap pics so you’ll have to scoot on over to Google images or the Daily Mail if you want to see them, but basically, Alex is wearing a ring. It has diamonds in it, and it’s on her left finger.

A quick scan through her Insta shows she has not worn it on that finger before. THIS, folks, is why we got into journalism.

B) A ‘source’ has told Now to Love “when you know, you know!” Side note – not cool to announce your “friend’s” engagement before they do, just saying.

C) We reached out to Alex and Maegan’s rep, who said “they are declining all interviews”. Now, we’ve run this through our PR speak translator and it came out with “you can expect an Instagram engagement announcement pronto”.

Thus, we, like the rest of the country are setting up an alert for that exact moment as we speak.

God we hope it’s true. Because we can all use some more love in our lives, even if it’s through two people we’ve never met and probably never will.

2. Ed Sheeran says Beyonce has a very, very clever trick to maintain her privacy.

So it turns out Beyonce has very clever trick for maintaining her privacy while the whole goddamn world fan girls over her.

Ole' mate Ed Sheeran, who recently collaborated with her on his single 'Perfect', says Queen Bey changes her email address EVERY SINGLE WEEK.

“I have an email address that I email,” Sheeran told Entertainment Weekly.

“[It] actually changes every week. So I emailed that and we got on the phone, and it’s been in the works since May.”

That's all well and good but how does she remember all the motherflippin' passwords?

3. It looks like Sam Wood might be appearing on another reality show.

Praise be to the reality TV goddesses - it looks like our bachie fave, Sam Wood, could be returning to our screens next year.

According to Woman's Day, Wood was "spotted" filming an audition tape for next year's season of The Block with his friend Paul Lange.

The 37-year-old was apparently shooting a test-tape at St Kilda's Gatwick Hotel in Melbourne, which has been rumoured to be the set for The Block 2018.

"Sam was cycling along Fitzroy Street, talking about why he and his mate should be a team on the show," a "source" told the publication.

Woman's Day also reported that Sam is auditioning with his mate as Snez is busy looking after their new daughter, Willow. Which makes sense.

Oh goodie. We like our renovation shows with a side of bachie goodness.

4. Pink has opened up about raising her daughter gender-neutral.

Pink, her husband Carey Hart and daughter Willow Sage all showed up to this year's Video Music Awards in matching suits. It was adorable. And it's a reflection of how the pair are raising their children.

This week the 38-year-old pop star told The Mirror's Sunday People she and Carey were raising their daughter (and 11-month-old son Jameson we presume) in a gender neutral home.

"We are a very label-less household," she said, before adding that Willow told her she wants to "marry an African woman".

"I was like: 'Great, can you teach me how to make African food?'"

"And she’s like: 'Sure mama, and we are going to live with you while our house is getting ready.'"

Pink, who referred to herself later in the interview as "still a 12-year-old boy", only had one concern with her daughter's plan: "Who is paying for this by the way?"

5. Taylor Swift is touring Australia in 2018 and we all need to be ready.

If you listen very carefully, you can hear the collective shrieks of thousands upon thousands of Swifties finding out that Taylor Swift is coming back to Australia.

The ‘Gorgeous’ singer is bringing her Reputation tour down under, and So It Goes… the collective media is having a lot of fun trying to incorporate as many of her song titles into sentences as possible.
